This 100% linen underdress is accurate to Sweden in the 1150's, about the time of the Second Crusade and the time in which the movie "Arn: The Knight Templar" is set. It is also perfect for mainland European fashions at that time. It features a round neckline, long sleeves with slits at the wrist to allow for rolling the sleeves up for work, and eight side and center gores for fullness of skirt and ease of movement. Inside seams are machine-sewn, and all visible stitching is done by hand.
To ensure a good fit, please include your measurements (bust, waist, hips, arm length from back of neck to wrist, back length, waist to floor, and desired total length of underdress from shoulder) in notes when ordering.
